  Used Avalanche Plumbing to fix an issue with our Sub-Zero fridge. Although the repair did not go perfectly, I found the technician and staff willing to negotiate to find a solution where both parties could walk away satisfied. Would definitely call them again.

  Absolutely the worst experience with a company I have ever had. After attempting a warranty repair twice, our dishwasher still did not work. Avalanche came out again to see if they could try to figure out what was wrong and were unable to. At no time during this final visit did they tell us that the problem was no longer related to the original warranty claim. A few weeks later we received an invoice. After numerous emails and calls that were never responded to they sent a second invoice. Once again my calls and emails went unanswered. 10 months later we received another invoice with no late charges or interest, just asking us to pay. For the third time my multiple emails and phone calls were ignored. Exactly 2 weeks later we received an email from a collection agency. The invoice sent to the collection agency suddenly contained late charges, interest and collections fees. To date we are still trying to get some satisfaction and are STILL unable to actually speak to a manager. The office staff is rude and very unhelpful. Terrible service and attitude, particularly considering that their technicians were completely unable to even figure out what was wrong with our dishwasher. Do yourself a huge favour and go elsewhere. There are much better plumbers in Cochrane that you can deal with. Too bad we learned this the hard way.

  6 weeks later a charge appears on VISA. Tried numerous times calling to get an answer as for what this was in relation to. First call noted it was a mistake and would be taken care of. That was the last time able to talk to management. Following that, management was never available and would never call back. After numerous attempts with no response, took issue up with VISA itself. Avalanche decided to make up an invoice to supply to VISA indicating call out charges, parts and services. So much for warranty on their efforts. We were never provided any quote, or invoice and, quite the opposite, advised that this would be warranty work!

  Very helpful, from office staff to the service technician. Excellent service quick to respond and rectify the problem with warranty on our Kitchenaid refrigerator.

  Buyer be ware! Avalanche will not stand behind their products and services! Had a new water tank installed and then had some problems with it. Called them about the issue and they indicated that it would not be a problem and would be serviced under warranty. Service technician came out and determined the issue and had resolved. When asked about cost associated, service technician indicated it was a warranty issue. All good to this point.
